Everlea's Birthday Take 1

So Everlea's actual birthday was yesterday but her "party" outing was today. We still wanted her actual day to be special though so we filled it with some fun things. Ran and I took her to "Horton Hears a Who"... great movie, we really enjoyed it. Not a great pic below, but I forgot my camera so this was taken on Ran's cell phone.

After that we went to the mall and took Ev to the Disney store and one of her presents from us was she could pick out her favorite dress. This is what we came home with and every time we are home since then, she's been wearing it.

It was so cute all throughout the mall (as she carried her treasured gift in the Disney bag) she kept saying every few minutes, "thank you mama for getting me this beautiful dress."

We hung around the mall, got a special bananaberry drink we all shared, let her play on some of the equipment, looked at the puppies and by that time it was getting late, so we headed to the grocery store for her chosen birthday dinner, pizza (which kind of surprised me cause that's not normally something she asks for). She also picked out a small banana cream pie for her "cake" so we enjoyed that for dessert.

By then it was past her bedtime and we had an early morning for the waterpark the next day, so she headed to bed. I have to add that during dinner I was watching the new Season of "Dancing with the Stars" so between bites of pizza she was dancing along with the contestants, which is always funny to watch.

She said she had a good birthday, it was a nice little low key family one, and we knew more fun was coming after 1 more sleep!!
